After more than 17 years at the weekend morning anchor desk at WMUR along with investigative reporting duties, Amy Coveno is enjoying a little more free time in her schedule and seeing a lot of her grandchildren Finn and Red.
Amy is a proud Air Force brat, wife and mom. She and her husband Rick traveled across this great country and Europe during his 20 years of service. Service comes with sacrifice and it’s why the mission of Operation Delta Dog resonates deeply.
Amy and Rick bought a very old, very needy farmhouse in Groton, MA in 2007 and launched their four children into adulthood. Animals are a big deal in the Coveno family. They currently have two Newfoundlands, Hugo and Clementine. A 17-year-old barn cat named Otto. A flock of hens and two goats, Poppy and Grace, adopted from Live and Let Life Rescue in Chichester.
Amy spent 11 years on the CASA-NH board of directors and still serves on the advisory board. She has emceed some events for Delta Dog in recent years and is delighted to become an official member of the board of directors.
